From the time I could reach the kitchen bench, I've loved cooking - and even more, I've loved watching people light up over a good plate of food.
After the birth of my second baby, I started working with a coach on building better habits around whole foods.
That led to raw treats and bliss balls that friends couldn't stop asking about.
Noticing there wasn't much of that kind of food around the Mid-West, Soul Mamas Catering was born.
What started as healthy treats has grown - over more than seven years - into the catering business it is today.
I'm a self-taught cook who's leant heavily on generous mates in the industry, and
on a stubborn habit of testing and re-testing recipes until they're right.
Soul Mamas has catered everything from intimate dinners for 10 to weddings and functions for 200+.
Past clients include the NSW Swifts, the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Manly Sea Eagles - who invited us back to cater their team a second time. I'm proud of every event we've fed, and every plate we've sent out. proud of every one of them.
I'm not the kind of caterer who'll hand you a menu and tell you that's that.
